Perhaps you have already noticed or not, but those syllables are pronounced differently than in Europe. If you know a little bit about linguistics, it’s called affrication (if not, don’t worry).It consists in transforming “tu” to “tsu”, “ti” to “tsi”, “du” to “dzu”, and “di” to “dzi”.It only works with those consonants and vowels.Tu /t͡sy/ audio

Contrary to what one might think, this way of pronouncing isn’t informal, but standard. If you start to pronounce, for example, “tu” without the “s” in between, everyone will think you’re imitating an accent from France.
