I love how it’s not “policing” when they we look untidy, unprofessional, ghetto, and tacky and deny us job opportunities or harass and arrest us based on our clothes though nobody is talking about freedom to dress a certain way then.Reblogging this to support my last post. Yay I love living in America and being in a free country where you can wear whatever the fuck you want. If you say her headdress is bullshit, I say you have no fucking RIGHT to tell any lady what she can and can’t wear. Yeah thanks.
Wearing sacred items of another culture because you’re think they’re pretty is cultural appropriation. But hey why think about how these images contribute to the incredibly high rape stats faced by NDN women when you can wallow in privilege & join in their oppression?
since when did telling white people not to wear offensive shit constitute clothing policing though
oh yeah since white people.
Can we please talk about how the most privileged people on the planet need to put on sacred items from some of the most marginalized communities on the planet to express how “free” they are? I mean farreal, this is about “freedom”? All those times Native people couldnt even wear their regalia or practice ceremonies but now it gets to be “freedom” accessories for people who know diddly divided by squat about native people?
Someone explain this to me, seriously.

Good example of white people not liking the word NO.
Remember when that white girl had someone’s fucking skull in a glass cabinet next to her troll doll and she was so proud...
